- Having bed bugs does not mean you are dirty
- Bed Bugs are most active at night
- Bed Bugs are hitchhikers & easily transported
- Bed Bug bites are painless, but some people have an allergic reaction to the saliva injected by the bed bug as it feeds
- And maybe most importantly: Using a bed bug cover over your mattress and box spring creates a barrier to prevent those items from becoming infested and having to be discarded, saving the homeowner a lot of money.
HEAT TREATMENTS
Heat treatments are an effective way to eliminate bed bugs quickly, but tend to be more effective than conventional treatment methods. Portable heaters and fans are used to gradually heat the air to about 120 – 130°F while monitoring with sensors and strategically placing fans for air circulation. By carefully controlling the temperature, bugs and eggs are killed wherever they may be without damaging household items. Heat treatments require specialized training and equipment, and may be more effective than conventional approaches relying principally on insecticides.

Check It Yourself!
Carefully inspect your mattress and box spring for evidence of bed bugs: live bed bugs (see pics!), blood stains or fecal droppings. These are all signs of a possible infestation, but if you are unsure, consult a professional today.
